The former Vice president of Nigeria and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the 2019 general elections, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, has reacted to the death of Mrs. Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo, wife of Pastor Itua Ighodalo of Trinity House, based in Lagos.
Reacting, Atiku in a tweet on his official Twitter account, said the late wife of Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, may have been short, but it was impactful.
He said: “The life of Pastor (Mrs) Ibidun Ituah-Ighodalo, late wife of Head Pastor, @trinityhouseng, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, may have been short, but it was impactful.
“Her Ibidunni Ighodalo Foundation (IIF), a non-profit organisation, was a source of blessing to many women.
“My deepest condolences to the Ighodalo and Olaleye Ajayi families. May her soul rest in peace.
The president of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari had earlier sent a personal letter of condolence to Pastor Ituah Ighodalo.
The Lagos State Governor, BabaJide Sanwo-Olu also reacted to the demise of the cleric’s wife.
”I was shocked when I received the news that my friend, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo had lost his wife and partner, Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo”.
“Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo was an inspiration to many. I pray for strength for Pastor Ituah, their children, loved ones and the many she has touched.”
Sam Adeyemi, senior pastor of the Daystar Christian Centre, also reacted to the death Mrs Ibidun Ighodalo
Pastor Sam on his Twitter account wrote
He tweeted’Our prayers are with our dear Pastor Ituah Ighodalo and family, and Trinity House, on the passing of Mrs Ibidunni Ituah-Ighodalo.”
“We pray for God’s comfort and strength. Heaven gained an angel, but it’s a great loss for us on this side of eternity. It is well. #ibidunniighodalo”
