COVID-19: Oyo Govt Confirms 4 Discharge Of Covid-19 Patient, Records New Cases


The Oyo State Government on Saturday announced that it has confirmed discharge of four (4) Covid-19 patient in the State.

Governor Seyi Makinde who doubled as the chairman of Covid-19 Task Force in Oyo State disclosed this in his official twitter account on Saturday, he explained that the new discharge bring the total discharge cases in Oyo to 2064

“Twenty-four confirmed COVID-19 cases received their second NEGATIVE test results and have been discharged. This brings the number of discharged cases in Oyo State to 2064.”

The governor in the same that the state recorded 3 new cases which are from Egbeda (1), Ido (1) and Ibadan North (1) Local Government Areas

Meanwhile, the development brings the total number of infection in Oyo State to 3213

“Also, the COVID-19 confirmation tests for three suspected cases came back POSITIVE. The cases are from Egbeda (1), Ido (1) and Ibadan North (1) Local Government Areas. So, the total number of confirmed cases in Oyo State today is 3213.”
