Tothenham have confirmed that one person has tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing by the Premier League.
As part of preparations to return to action, England’s top flight is carrying out extensive screening of players and staff from across the league.
The London Club revealed this in a statement on their official website on Wednesday.
The statement read: “We have been informed by the Premier League that we have received one positive test for COVID-19.
“Due to medical confidentiality, the individual’s name will not be disclosed.
“They are currently asymptomatic and will now self-isolate for seven days, in line with Premier League protocol, before undergoing further testing.”
