The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Monday said that the governorship seat in the state had taken the decision of the Court of Appeals.
The party’s public secretary, Dr Azeez Olatunde, said in a statement on Monday in the state capital, Ibad.
According to him, the State Committee of the Party will forward this decision to its legal team for the necessary recommendations.
Today’s POST recalls that three members, led by Justice Muhammed Sirajo, unanimously rejected the appeal of APC candidate General Adebayo Adelabu in the governor’s election.
Adelabu dragged Gov. Seyi Makinde, a PDP candidate in the election, appeared before the tribunal to test her victory in court.
“The State Committee of the Party has actively decided to send the court’s decision to our panel of forensic experts to get the party’s recommendations for the necessary recommendations,” he said.
He thanked the party members for their compliance with the law and urged them and their colleagues to wait for the next line of action of the party.
