The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has declared that the results for the 2020 West African Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) will be released on Monday.
The exam body made the announcement via its Twitter page on Sunday night.
WAEC also revealed that the results will be released at 10:30am.
“This is to inform candidates that sat West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for School Candidates, 2020 that the results of that exam will be released by WAEC tomorrow, Monday, November 2, 2020 by 10:30am,” it wrote.
WAEC had on September 14 announced that it would release candidates’ results in the next 45 days.
Nonetheless, On October 28, the exam body, postponed the release date as a result of to the curfew imposed in some states following the violence trailing the #EndSARS protest — as of then.
Number of states across the country had declared curfews of different durations to curb the chaos that broke out in the afterwards of the #EndSARS protest.
The protest, targeted at challenging Police brutality in the country, had become violent after it was hijacked by thugs.
