Kogi: What Oshiomhole said after meeting Buhari, Yahaya Bello


Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, National President of the Progressive Congress, APC, assured the people of Kogi State that Governor Yahaya Bello would work hard to transform the state during his second term.

Oshiomhole said that Bello will approach his second term with all “vigor with an eye for posterity and heritage marks in the development of Kogi’s state.”

According to him, Yahaya Bello’s victory in Kogi State is a lot for those who really believe that Nigerian politics should move away from feelings, NAN reports.

The APC president said that when he answered questions from State House correspondents after accompanying Bello during a visit to President Muhammadu Buhari at the presidential villa in Abuja on Thursday.

He said: “I think that for analysts and watchful observers of Nigerian politics, especially geopolitical politics, you will agree that Yahaya Bello’s victory in Kogi State represents a lot of things for those who really believe that Nigerian politics must move away from feelings. , to deal with people for who they are rather than where they come from.

“We are therefore very proud of the CPA and have presented it to the President.

“The president was very proud, of course, he congratulated him, he was happy to see his certificate and he encouraged us to recognize that rewarding hard work, as they say, is more work.

“And I’m sure that Governor Yahaya Bello, who has passed the apprenticeship course, will approach the second term with all due vigor, ensuring posterity and legacy in the development of the state of Kogi.

“As a party, we thank the people of Kogi State for coming out with the party and voting for Yahaya Bello.”
