The Oyo State Government, on Monday,serve an order to stop 13 primary school head teachers, who were allegedly for fraud two assistants and a classroom teacher over extortion and other misconducts.
The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Adenira gave the order after school inspection in Ibadan metropolis.

Mr Adeniran said that Governor Seyi Makinde was fully committed to the complete overhaul and repositioning of the state’s education sector, saying that one of the major impediments to quality teaching and learning in schools was inadequate monitoring and supervision and the government will not tolerate such act
Meanwhile, we’ll ensure effective monitoring of schools in the state
He added that apart from illegal collection of fees from pupils, the suspended teachers were also found culpable of insubordination and refusal to comply with posting instructions.
The SUBEB chairman, who stated that the suspended teachers would face a disciplinary committee, said the committee had been mandated to ensure a thorough probe of the allegations and give all concerned fair hearing.
